On November 19, Fliqz CEO Benjamin Wayne sat on a panel at the inaugural Online Video Platform Summit about video monetization. While his fellow panelists discussed how people can make money in online video and how to best monetize your video content, Benjamin sat back and shook his head until midway through the panel when he began to question his panelists on the price and availability of video content production today.
His point was that monetizing video is not the problem today but rather getting quality video content is. He then dove into the whole-value of online video and how it can expose your brand in new, viral ways, how it can improve site stickiness and engagement, and specifically how video SEO is the publisher's new secret weapon. At this point of the panel the crowd was wowed while Benjamin showed examples of how proper video SEO can get you first page and even #1 page rankings in Google.
